Sharon Sue Weber, 79, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa passed away peacefully at Summit Pointe Memory Care Unit in Marion on Wednesday, August 20, 2025. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Cedar Rapids with visitation to begin one hour prior. Burial will take place at St. John’s Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids, is assisting the family.
Sharon was born May 4, 1946, the daughter of Maynard and Inez (Keating) Allen. She graduated from Jefferson High School in Cedar Rapids. Sharon married Thomas Weber on October 3, 1964, at St. Patrick’s Church in Cedar Rapids. She was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and active in St. Monica’s Circle. Her greatest gift in life was spending time with her family and lovingly raising three generations. She had a true passion for collecting treasures for her home. She will be dearly missed.
Survivors include her sons, Steve Weber of Fairfax, Iowa, and Tim (Debbie) Weber of Marion, Iowa; grandchildren, Ashley (Derek) Loutsch and Brooke (Beau Tindell) Weber, all of Cedar Rapids, Phillip (Cortney) Weber of Wheat Ridge, Colorado, and Evan Weber of Marion; great-grandchildren, Leo and Brody Loutsch; and many extended family members and friends.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and sister, Sandy Miller.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Summit Pointe and St. Croix Hospice for the care and compassion Sharon received.
