Sharon Sue Wagner, age 82 of Davenport, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at her home. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 17 at New Life Baptist Church in Davenport at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Roger Vester officiating. Burial will be in Red Oak Cemetery, rural Stanwood after a luncheon at the church. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
Sharon was born on July 13, 1942 in Hammond, Indiana to Myron and Alice (Gleason) Aldridge. She married Alvin Wagner on September 13, 1980 in Oskaloosa.
She is survived by her husband Alvin and her niece Candy of Hammond, Indiana.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents; infant brother; sister Nancy; brother Butch Aldridge; and half-sister Sandy McKenzie.
Sharon was a great cook and enjoyed making jams and jellies, but her specialty was the “Swedish Tea Ring.” She also enjoyed arts & crafts, puzzles, and quilting in her free time.
