Sharon L. Allen, 62, of Manchester, Iowa, passed away on Monday, Aug. 22, 2022, at home with her family present. Celebration of Life for Sharon will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 28, 2022, at Bohnenkamp-Murdoch Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Manchester.
Sharon was born on Nov. 17, 1959, in Virginia, Minn., the daughter of Gerald and Wanda (Ostby) Weber. She graduated from High School and went to beauty school. Sharon married Donald Allen on Jan. 7, 1995, in Denver, Colo. She was a hairdresser for many years, head baker at Linn Mar Schools and worked at the Walmart Pharmacy in Manchester as a pharmacy tech. Sharon enjoyed spending time working in the garden, her fish tank, was a wonderful baker and had a knack for decorating. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren. She was a kind person and greeted everyone with smile. She will be greatly missed by her friends and family.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Donald Allen; sons, Josh Allen of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Robert Allen and Christopher Allen, both of Manchester; three grandchildren; her father, Gerald Weber of Virginia, Minn.; and her siblings, Diane (Donald) Quarles of Wilmington, N.C., and Dan (Wen) Weber of Shakopee, Minn.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Wanda Weber; and many extended family members.
