She graduated from Mercy School of Nursing in Cedar Rapids and worked for several years at Mercy Medical Center. For more than 41 years, they lived in rural Lisbon before moving to their new home in rural Mechanicsville. Sharon enjoyed NASCAR and Indy racing, traveling, card clubs and spending time with her family.
