Severin, Patricia H.

Patricia H. Severin, 80, of Clarence, died Feb. 24, 2012, at Heartland Nursing Home in Galesburg, Ill. Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, at Chapman Funeral Home in Clarence. Burial: Clarence Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour before service time.

Born March 16, 1931, in Cedar County, she was the daughter of Richard Dircks and Della Hartwig. Pat attended Mount St. Claire College and received her teacher's degree and then taught school for a short time.

Survivors include two sons, Brian and Stan (Becky) Severin of Lowden; a daughter, Lisa Severin of Peoria, Ill.; grandchildren, Patrick (Jen) Severin, Shari (Neal) Slaton and Sandi (Scott) Kallaus; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Scott and Madison Severin, Shelby, Tristan and Tatum Slaton and Alli Kallaus; and brothers, Dewey (Dorothy) and John (Joyce) Dircks of Clarence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Verna Lee Rix.
