Sennett, Dorothy
Dorothy Sennett, 91, of Lowden, died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at the Clarence Nursing Home. Visitation and graveside services will be at a later date. Date and time will be announced.
Born Oct. 20, 1919, in Clarence, Iowa, the daughter of Fred and Martha (Runge) Feddersen, she married Dick Sennett on May 13, 1938. Dorothy was a member of Zion United Church of Christ, Lowden. She was very active in the church and community projects. Her friendliness to all will never be forgotten.
Survivors include a son, David (Karen) Sennett of Shueyville; daughter, Karen (Ronnie) Stange of Anamosa; five grandchildren and their families; and a large circle of friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
