Selma "Sally" Hawker, 89, of Cedar Falls, formerly of Monticello, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2016, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo. Visitation will
be held from noon to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, at Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello. A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with private burial in Oakwood Cemetery. The Rev. Don Sauser will officiate.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda (Ken) McMullen of Cedar Falls; and a son, Doug (Lauran) Hawker of Napa, Calif.; four grandchildren, Cory (Darcie) Oelberg of Carlisle, Scott (Chrissy) Oelberg of Waukee, Morgan Hawker of Fort Collins, Colo., and Hannah Hawker of San Marcos, Calif.; six great-grandchildren, Camryn, Landon, Ethan, Lucy, Andy and Emma Oelberg; and sisters, Minnie Stogdill of Monticello and Betty Siebels.
She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, Dennis Wayne;, her husband, Harlan, in 2012; brother, Robert Otten; and a sister, Doris Freeze.
Memorials may be made to Camp Courageous of Iowa.
