Survivors include her husband of almost 68 years, Robert A.; children, Edward (Marilyn) of Cedar Rapids, Michael (Pam) of Cumming, Ga. and Nancy (Ted) Loyd of Alpine, Wyo. grandchildren, Tammy (Jerry), Tim (Krista), Lori and Rob (Amber); great-grandchildren, McHale, Tanner, Cali, Corby, Carly, Cooper, Joey and new twins, Gemma Rose and Lily Ann; and special nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ann Klinger; and infant son, Timmy Joe.
Pat was born Sept. 20, 1925, in DeSoto, Wis., to Gabriel and Fern Dagnon. She became Bob's “bride” on June 3, 1945, in Alexandria, La., during World War II and began their married life in Prairie du Chien. They later moved to Cedar Rapids where they raised their family. Pat enjoyed baking with Bob as her sidekick, gardening, stitching and all family get-togethers. She was a member of the Garnett Place bell choir, the Ding-a-Lings. Above all, she had an unwavering faith in God.
Grandma Pat was fun, gentle, trusting and optimistic like no other.
