Seamans, Cheryl D.
Cheryl D. Seamans, 92, of Iowa City, passed away Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at Lantern Park Nursing & Rehab, Coralville. Memorial Mass will be at 8:30 a.m. Monday, March 11, at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Iowa City. The Rev. Michael Phillips will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday, March 10, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service in Iowa City.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be directed to The University of Iowa Foundation in support of the Institute for Vision Research, PO Box 4550, Iowa City, IA 52244-4550.
Cheryl is survived by her two sons, Jim (Bev) Seamans and Gary (Camille) Seamans; five grandchildren, James Jr. (Amanda) Seamans, Kathleen (Matt) David, Michael (Lauren) Seamans, Emily (AJ) Carr and Shawn (Sandra) Seamans; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis; and two brothers, Rex Toler and Roy Toler.
