Scranton, Betty J.
Betty J. Scranton, 67, of Cedar Rapids, died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at home. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids. Services: 11 a.m. Tuesday at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service.
Survivors include her children, Kirsta Scranton, Vanessa (Steve) Heathman and Matthew (Leicha) Scranton; a sister, Doris Guy; three brothers, LeRoy, Eugene and Merle Steward; and four grandchildren, Clara, Nolyn, Robert and Michaela.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Neal; and a sister, Marlene Duncomb.
A memorial fund has been established in Betty's memory.
