Scott E. Tudor, 58, of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016, at his home.
Scott was born April 4, 1958, in Manchester, Iowa, to Charles and Judy (Wessels) Tudor. He graduated from LaSalle High School in 1976. Scott went on to earn his Associate of Arts degree from Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo. He was employed as a photographer in Des Moines, Minneapolis, and at The Gazette in Cedar Rapids.
Scott was an avid walker and runner. He enjoyed cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes and New York Yankees.
Scott is survived by his parents, Chuck and Judy; his brother, Greg (Jennifer) Tudor of Woodbridge, Calif.; his sister, LeAnn Tudor of Cedar Rapids; one nephew, Matthew Tudor, and one niece, Katharine Tudor, both of Woodbridge; special aunt, Carmen Wessels of Cedar Rapids; and many other aunts and uncles.
Scott was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ed and Lil Wessels and Gene and Frances Tudor; and aunt, Deb Kremer.
Services: 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Patrick Catholic Church by the Rev. Ivan Nienhaus. Burial: St. Alberts Cemetery, Dundee. A vigil service will be at 4 p.m. Monday at Teahen Funeral Home, Cedar Rapids, where friends may visit with the family from 4 to 7 p.m., and after 9 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Iowa Brain Injury Alliance or Epilepsy Foundation of Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska in Scott's name.
