Scott, Stacey Lynn
Stacey Lynn Scott, 39, of 807 17th St. SW, Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday. March 7, 2012. at the Dennis and Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha. Services at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Cedar Memorial Park Chapel of Memories. Cedar Memorial's Certified Celebrant, Julie Freese will officiate. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Survivors include a son, Booker who lives at home; father, Kenneth; and a sister, Sherry Surrett all of Cedar Rapids.
She is also survived by her grandmother, Elnora Ritze of Center Point; a niece, Justice; nephew, Austin; many aunts, uncles, cousins; and her best friend, Autumn Hensley.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a cousin, Rick Scott.
Stacey was born on Feb. 26, 1973, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Kenneth and Bonnie Ritze Scott. She was a homemaker and did volunteer work at Wilson Middle School. She enjoyed crocheting, dancing, movies and especially the time spent with her beloved family and many friends.
Stacey was a wonderful and caring daughter, mother, sister and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
A memorial fund has been established in Stacey's name.
