Scott A. Speth, 25, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, Oct. 2, 2017. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 19, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories Stateroom. Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20, at Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories.
Scott was born Feb. 15, 1992, the son of Krisstie (Kraus) and Christian Speth. Scotty loved the outdoors, fishing, music, movies and spending time with his family. He was an avid fan of the Cubs and the Colts. Through all of his struggles, he had the kindest heart. May he finally be at peace.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Speth; and great-grandparents, Wilma Kraus, Donald Speth and Robert and Marie Rathbun.
Remaining to cherish Scotty's memories are his parents, Krisstie and Chris Speth; brothers, Cole and Cade; grandparents, Wally Kraus, Max and Kristine Flack and Cindy Speth; great-grandparents Walter Kraus and Clara Speth; and many beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial fund has been established.
