Scott Charles Hepker, 53, was born April 18, 1972, to Charles “Chuck” and Susan (LaKose) Hepker. He grew up on his family’s farm and graduated from Springville High School in 1990. He died Wednesday, June 25, 2025.
Scott was a sports fanatic. His favorites were NASCAR (Kevin Harvick and Ryan Blaney), drag racing, Hawkeyes, Broncos, Cowboys, and golf (Tiger Woods). He enjoyed family gatherings, playing cards and board games, going to tractor pulls with his dad, casino trips with his mom, golfing, riding various motorcycles, and watching sports, movies, and standup comedy.
Scott is survived by his daughter, Anna Hepker; mom, Susan Hepker; sister, Shanna (Tony) Satterlee and their children, Tyler and Trenton; aunt and uncle, Maggie and Donald LaKose; aunts, Charline Nicklas, Barbara Coonrod, and Betty Coonrod; best friend, Patrick Carley; and many extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chuck; maternal grandparents, Charlie and Verla LaKose; paternal grandparents, Bill and Evelyn Hepker; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
There will be no services. Scott will be buried next to his dad in the Springville Cemetery.
