Schwietert, Mazie Anna (Trottnow)
Mazie Anna (Trottnow) Schwietert, 86, of Colesburg, Iowa, died at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, who reside on the family farm, on Sunday, Nov. 13, 2011. Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 17, at Colesburg United Methodist Church with Pastor Allen Craft officiating. Inurnment: Zion Cemetery, Colesburg. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the fellowship hall of the Colesburg United Methodist Church.
Mazie's living legacy includes three children, Robert Schwietert of Manchester, Kenneth (Helen) Schwietert of Colesburg, and Debra (John) Ross of Colesburg; four grandchildren, Jonathon (Emily) Ross, Jeffrey Ross, Adam (Brittany) Ross and Amber Ross (fiance Chris Quartier); two stepgrandchildren, Michele Grimes and Michael Grimes; two great-grandchildren, Alexis Ross, Bryce Ross and one on the way; and a brother-in-law, Martin Schwietert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren in 1987; her son, David in 2004; and three sisters, Marcella Boardman, Neva Cummings and Grace Herdman.
