Schwertfeger, Beverly J.
MARENGO - Beverly J. Schwertfeger, 77, of Brooklyn, formerly of Marengo, died Monday, Sept. 20, 2010, at Brooklyn Community Estates in Brooklyn following an extended illness. Funeral services: noon Saturday, Sept. 25, at Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, with the Rev. Katie Dawson officiating. Burial will be in Bishop Cemetery, rural Marengo. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon Saturday at the funeral home.
She is survived by a brother, Larry Wendel of Stevensville, Mont.; her caregiver, Shirley Cleary of Victor; and her extended family, the staff and residents of Brooklyn Community Estates.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Floyd Duane; and her husband, Leonard Schwertfeger in 1991.
A memorial fund has been established.
