Schwarting, Shirley June
Shirley June Schwarting, 85, of Williamsburg, formerly of Conroy, died Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, following a sudden illness. Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 5, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Conroy. The Rev. Gary Sears will officiate. Burial will be at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Conroy. Visitation will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Powell Funeral Home, Williamsburg.
She is survived by her children, Gary (Janice) Schwarting of Ankeny, Donna (Bruce) Lundeen of East Moline, Ill., and Rick (Barbara) Schwarting of Atkins.
A memorial fund has been established for Trinity Lutheran Church.
