Schumacher, Donald L.
Donald L. Schumacher, 91, of Marengo, died Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Cedar Rapids. Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 20, First Presbyterian Church, Marengo, with the Rev. Diane Miller officiating. Visitation: 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo.
A memorial fund has been established.
Donald is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Donald “Ray” (Carol) and Doug (Kari); three daughters, Sheryl Semler (Gordon), Ruth Fiser (Delbert) and Susan Carlson (Daniel); nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Also surviving is his sister Verla Greene.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl W. and Ruth Cooperider Schumacher; and four brothers, Richard, Carl, Lloyd and Eldon.
