Schuessler, Marvin
Marvin Schuessler, formerly of 646 Sandusky Dr., Iowa City, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Atrium Village in Hills. Following Marvin's wishes, there will be no public services. Marvin helped others through the donation of his organs; cremation services were provided by the Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service. His cremated remains were buried in the Lone Tree Cemetery.
Memorial donations can be made in his memory to Iowa City Hospice.

Marvin's family includes his three daughters, Cynthia Bartman and Cheryl Schuessler, both of Colorado, and Karen Schuessler of Connecticut; granddaughters, Stephanie Bartman, Jessica Bartman and Danielle Gilbert, and grandson, Andre Gilbert, all of Colorado; and sisters, Joyce Shaffer of Connecticut and Donna Bean of Marion.
Preceding Marvin in death was his wife of more than 53 years, Pat (Hogan) Schuessler in July 2004.
