Schorg-Mangano, Betty Jean
Betty Jean Schorg-Mangano, 73, of Cedar Rapids, passed away Monday, Aug. 19, 2013 at Mercy Medical Center, Cedar Rapids. A funeral service celebrating Betty's life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 22, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. Burial will be in Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband, John; son, Rob (Dawn) Schorg of Mount Vernon; stepsons, Paul (Steph) Mangano of Butler, Mo. and Thomas Mangano of Cedar Rapids; grandchildren, Brittany and Trevor Schorg of Mount Vernon; stepgrandchildren, Ashley, Island, Jacob, Madison, Brock and Niko Mangano; and siblings, Patsy (Doug) Sutphin, Janet Stull and Dorothy “Butch” (Gene) Miller, all of Belle Plaine and Bill (Debbie) Mouchka of Brooklyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial fund has been established in her name.
