Schmidt, Paula Linette Marner

Paula Linette Marner Schmidt, 43, of Florence, S.C., died Saturday, Oct. 20, 2012, in Florence.

She was born July 21, 1969, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to David Marner Sr. and the late, Pauline Frank Marner.

Mrs. Schmidt was a member of Lamb's Chapel Christian Center. Paula was a loving wife and friend. She loved riding horses, reading, being hospitable and encouraging to everyone.

Paula was preceded in death by her mother, Pauline Marner.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Schmidt of Florence; father, David Marner Sr. of Cedar Rapids; and brothers, David Marner Jr. and Trent Marner, both of Cedar Rapids.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 24, at Lamb's Chapel Christian Center. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cain Funeral Home. Inurnment will be at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum at a later time.
