Schlitter, Robert H.
Robert H. Schlitter, 85, of Oelwein, formerly of Allison, died Friday afternoon, Feb. 17, 2012, at his home. Celebration of Life Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Feb. 20, at Grace United Methodist Church, Oelwein. Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, and one hour before the service at the church on Monday. Interment: 2:30 p.m. Monday at Monona City Cemetery, Monona.
Bob is survived by his wife of 64 years, Ruth Ann Schlitter of Oelwein; three children, Dale (Tammy) Schlitter of Bartlett, Ill., Janice (Terry) Tilleraas of Dodgeville, Wis., and Dean (Sue) Schlitter of Oelwein; two sisters, Adeline McFarlane of Sun Prairie, Wis., and Alice Palas of Dubuque; as well many extended family.
