Scherbring, Paul G.
Paul G. Scherbring, 86, of Petersburg died Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010 at Ennoble Manor, Dubuque after a brief illness.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. Wednesday at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday at Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Petersburg, with burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors include his, wife, VernaMae, 2 stepsons, Rich (Laura) Watson of Dubuque, and Frank (Jeanie) Marshall of Zwingle; three stepdaughters, Pam Schmitt of Dubuque, Patricia Scales of Highland, Wisc., and Diane Colson of Linden, Wisc.; one brother, James (Janice) Scherbring of Colesburg; and one sister, Myra Rausch of Dyersville.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers: Urban and Fritz Scherbring, one sister, Eunice Scherbring, sister in-law Florence Scherbring and brother in-law Joseph Rausch.
