Schenke, Marie Mildred
Marie Mildred Schenke, 86, of Colesburg, Iowa, passed away at the Edgewood Convalescent Home on Sunday, April 18, 2010, one day before her 87th birthday, following a short illness.
Survivors include one brother and two sisters, Burdette (Lavera) Schenke and Wilma (Robert) Lincoln, both of Colesburg, and Janet Brockmeyer of Mason City; one sister-in-law, Hope Schenke of Turlock, Calif.; one brother-in-law, Walter Lanning of Delhi; and many nieces and nephews.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Robert Schenke; two sisters, Donna Reynolds and Ruth Lanning; and one brother-in-law, Virgil Brockmeyer.

Celebration of Life service: 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at United Methodist Church, Colesburg, Iowa. Officiating: the Rev. Allen Craft. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Leonard-Muller Funeral Home in Edgewood and one hour before the service at the church on Wednesday. Interment: Zion Cemetery, rural Colesburg.
