Saundra Jean Plotz, 79, of Litchfield Park, Ariz., passed Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015, in Phoenix, Ariz.
Saundra was born Nov. 22, 1935, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, to Grover and Vergie Foggy. She was an amazing wife, mom and nanny. She touched everyone she met. She loved her family and embraced life. She left us flying away on the wings of a hummingbird. Her angelic spirit will continue to guide her family and friends through their lives.
Saundra is survived by her husband of 61 years, James Plotz; children, Kim Balaschak and her husband, Jim, Kevin Plotz and his wife, Eileen, Kelli Biggs and Marshall Schroder; grandchildren, Brandi McMillian and her husband, Matt, Brandon Biggs and his wife, Linnea, Sheena Martinez and Tasha Gorman; great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Isiah and Damien Martinez; and brother, David Minder.
Services were held at the family's residence on Aug. 4.
Donations can be made in memory of Saundra Jean Plotz to the Arizona Humane Society in Phoenix, Ariz.; or the Alzheimer's Prevention Foundation in Tucson, Ariz.
