Sass, Maynard L.
Maynard L. Sass, 69, formerly of Iowa City, died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2010, in Hinkley, Calif., where he had resided for a number of years. Graveside services with full military honors will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 8, at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Iowa City. There will be a period of visitation beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday at Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service in Iowa City, concluding with words by General Robert Sentman.
