Sarah L. Miller, 41, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Sunday, Feb. 12, 2023. A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, at The Legacy Center at Murdoch-Linwood in Cedar Rapids. Burial will take place at a later date at Linwood Cemetery in Cedar Rapids.
Sarah was born July 8, 1981, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Matthew Miller and Jody (Poohl) Sokoloski. She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School, Class of 1999. Sarah enjoyed collecting frog figurines, going to Starbucks, and listening to music. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. Sarah was a beautiful soul with a beautiful smile and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter, Ariel Hunter (Trenton Salyars); two granddaughters, Ava and Aliana Salyars; mother, Jody (Ed) Sokoloski; father, Matthew Miller; siblings, Christina Miller, Ashley Handford, Aryn Miller, Amber Miller and Andrew Miller; and paternal grandmother, Maggie Miller.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Holly Miller; maternal grandparents, June and Jake Poohl; and paternal grandfather, Loren Miller.
