Sandra Eileen Wilson, 78, of Williamsburg, formerly of Wellman and Marion, died Wednesday, March 1, 2017, in Williamsburg.
Funeral services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, March 6, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 210 11th St., Wellman. Burial will be in Hopkinton, Iowa, Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday, March 5, at Hope Chapel in Highland Ridge Senior Living, 100 Village View Circle, Williamsburg.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Louis Wilson; her children, Christe Cress, Matthew Wilson, Peggy Gartner, Patty (Stephanie) Petrak and Ann (Jay) Smith; brothers, Bob (Georgina) Mettler, Jim (Pat) Mettler and Doug (Vicky) Mettler; nine grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Naomi Mettler; brother, Kenneth Mettler; and sisters, Kathleen Epperson and Joyce Houston.
Sandra was born in Monticello, Iowa, on July 11, 1938. She married Louis Wilson on Nov. 6, 1954. She devoted her life to caring for her family.
