SANDRA "SANDY" MULDOON

Sandra "Sandy" Kay Muldoon, 70, of Cedar Rapids, died peacefully Sunday evening, Nov. 22, 2015, in her home with many family and friends by her side.
Sandy was born May 15, 1945, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Robert William and Helen White. She married Robert "Bob" Muldoon on Aug. 11, 1962, and was married for 49 years before his passing.
Sandy was a CNA at Meth-Wick Manor for eight years and cared dearly for her patients. In the 1970s, Sandy was a semi-pro-fessional bowler and loved the competition.
Sandy loved antiques, gardening, gambling and listening to music.
Sandy was a very caring and loving person to all of her family and friends. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She will be truly missed.
Sandy is survived by her son, Dale (Laurie) Muldoon of Coggon; daughter, Shannon (Jeff) Gardemann of Shellsburg; siblings, Jerry (Carroll), Jim (Cherie) and Pam (Doug); nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Sandy also is survived by a very dear and special man in her life, Willie McNeese. A special thank you to his family for all they have done for Sandy.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Bob"; her parents; and her siblings, Shirley, Barbara "Jean," Betty, Linda, Patrick and Bart.
Sandy's family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers for Sandy during her brief illness.
