Sandra Lee Reid, 73, of Marion, died on Monday, July 4, 2022, at Winslow House Care Center in Marion, Iowa. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, July 11, at the Cedar Memorial Chapel of Memories. A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial at Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Sandy was born Aug. 6, 1949, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Edward and Barbara (Wells) Vanderlind. Sandy married Michael Lee Reid on Jan. 7, 2000, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She retired from Evergreen Packaging in Cedar Rapids, Iowa after 35 years of employment. Sandy was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Ted (Sara) Falt of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; stepsons, James and Christopher Reid; a sister, Peggy Schneekloth of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; and loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Michael L. Reid; brother, Bob Vanderlind; and son, James Falt Jr.
