Sandra L. David, 71, of Cedar Rapids, died on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at her home from a short illness. Funeral service: 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. George Orthodox Church by Father Fred Shaheen. Burial: St. George Orthodox Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the church on Monday from 5 to 7 p.m.; a Trisagion Service will be held
at 7 p.m. Teahen

Sandra is survived by her husband, Steven: son, Chad; daughter, Heather; granddaughter, Jenna; three sisters, Patty, Nikki and Tina; best friend, Karen; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; grandparents; sister, Pam Exley; in-laws, George and Lorice David; brothers in-law, Jack Feild, Frank E. Kramer and Burt Bracy; and sister in-law, Ruth David.
Sandra was born in Cedar Rapids to Hugh and Helen Bizulis Daggett on Oct. 18, 1951. She met the love of her life Steven G. David while in high school, they were both graduates of Jefferson High School and they married on July 4, 1971. Sandra retired from General Mills where she was employed for over 45 years.
Sandra loved spending time with her precious granddaughter, Jenna and her four cats, gardening and collecting light houses. She enjoyed listening to Barry Manilow, going to the casino and time spent with her family on many vacations, and plenty of pool parties in the backyard.
