Sandra Kay Kreinbring, 72, died Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf. There will be an informal gathering of friends and family from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 11, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence.
Sandy was born Aug. 27, 1944, in Moline, Ill., to Herbert and Cora Smith Johnson. She married Kim Kreinbring on Aug. 22, 1964, at St. John's United Church of Christ in Clarence.
Survivors include her husband, Kim; sons, Kyle (Christina) of Davenport and Koby (Heather) of Badhomburg, Germany; grandchildren, Kole, Kade, Kaleb and Hattie Kreinbring; and brothers, Dick (Steph) Johnson of Estero, Fla., and Jay (Steph) Johnson of Port Byron, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Sandy was devoted to her family and she was a friend to everyone. Her family was the most important thing to her, never missing her children or grandchildren's events, as she was their No. 1 fan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House or the Ronald McDonald House.
