Sandi Keller, 72, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2022, at the Dennis & Donna Oldorf Hospice House of Mercy in Hiawatha, Iowa. A Celebration of Life will take place at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 23, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids.
Sandi was born Feb. 13, 1950, in Bismarck, N.D., the daughter of Floyd and Bernalda (Ziebarth) Teigen. She graduated from Reeder High School in Reeder, N.D., Class of 1968. Sandi married John "Jack" Keller on Nov. 21, 1983, in South Dakota. She brokered modular homes and also did interior design, retiring in 2006. Sandi loved quilting, sewing and creating crafty things. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, gardening, home canning, cooking and listening to music. Her favorite time of year was Christmas and she celebrated with Christmas trees and decorations throughout the house. Sandi was an upbeat, positive person who loved to laugh. She was honest and generous to a fault.
Survivors include her children, Stephen Giffin of Phoenix, Ariz., Johnathan Giffin of Denver, Colo., and Taylen Keller of Austin, Texas; and close friend, Judy Pruess.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Bernalda Teigen; and husband, Jack Keller, in 2007.
