Sanders Lloyd Moffit was born March 21, 2012, at Mercy Iowa City, the son of Hunter Moffit and Elisha Ronan Moffit. During his short life with us he grew into a superhero to many, one who enjoyed much in his life. He loved to sing and dance to YouTube; to eat SpaghettiO's and chicken nuggets; ride four-wheelers; do arts and crafts, especially painting; throw and catch balls; go for car rides; play with his dog, Flash, or his newest pet, Gilbert, the cat; and wear his cowboy boots (sometimes that was all he was wearing). He was known to find a way to get his way and he loved his family dearly, feeling most comfortable lying next to Mom and playing with her hair. Sanders would smile when he got his vanilla ice coffee to start off his morning, and shout for joy when the day included a ride to Dairy Queen for a dish of ice cream with Butterfinger on top.
We only had a few short years with Sanders, but he left his mark on our lives for a lifetime!
Sanders' family includes his parents, Elisha and Hunter; his brothers, Ronan and Jacoby; grandparents, Daniel Ronan and Lynn and Sherry Moffit; great-grandparents, Wanda and Jim Ronan and Doris Lockridge; and numerous aunts, uncles, great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Sandy Ronan.
Sanders was such an inspiration to all and he brought so much love and joy to everyone around him.
