SAMUEL JUDAH BUSHLACK

Samuel Judah Bushlack was born into the arms of Jesus on Nov. 26, 2018, at St. Luke's Birth Care Center, Cedar Rapids. Samuel is the cherished son of Johnse and Lauren Auld Bushlack and the beloved brother of Micah and Jacey of Cedar Rapids.
Samuel was greeted in heaven by his grandparents, Melvin VanDerPol, Norbert and Victoria Bushlack and Carl and Evalonne Johnson; and his cousin, Max.
He is mourned on Earth by his grandparents, Jeff and Sherry Auld of Cedar Rapids and George and Judy Bushlack of Marion, great-grandparents, Robert and Janice Auld and Dorothy VanDerPol; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many dear friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018, at New Covenant Bible Church on North Center Point Road with a reception to follow. The family will greet friends beforehand.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions in Samuel's memory be made to the Bridgehaven Pregnancy Support Center (bridgehavencr.org/donate) or Compassion International's Child Survival Program (www.compassion.com/help-babies-mothers-in-poverty.htm).
Johnse and Lauren would like to thank Drs. Lyons and Bussewitz, as well as nurses Leeann, Jenny, Sara, Janet, Marcine, Katie, Lindsey, Barb, Tanya, Patty, Pam and all of the staff at St. Luke's for their compassionate and loving care.
