Salyers, William R.
William R. Salyers, 64, of Washington, Iowa, died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, in rural Washington County. He had been failing in health for some time.
Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2012, at the First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Jim Cluney officiating. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church. A general memorial fund has been established. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. He is survived by his wife, Terry Salyers of Washington, Iowa; son, William Franklin Salyers of Washington, Iowa; one brother, Carol Wayne Salyers and wife Ann of Newton, Iowa; and many cousins.
