Sally Jo Scott, 85, of Walker, Iowa, passed away peacefully at her home in the presence of her loving family on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2022. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, at Hoover Cemetery, rural Coggon, Iowa. Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service Cedar Rapids assisted the family.
She was born March 5, 1936, to Ada Elizabeth (Pratt) and Victor Willson in Independence, Iowa. On Dec. 24, 1950, Sally was united in marriage to Darrell Scott in Independence.
Sally is survived by her daughter, Cheryl (Don Andersen); and her much beloved grandson, John and his partner, Alyssa Morris who was very dear to her heart. She is also survived by her sister, Janet Bretey; and brother, Jon Willson.
Sally was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell; a daughter, DarryLin; and a son, Eric.
Sally loved life and the Lord. She is now in the kingdom of Heaven.
