Sakshaug, Carrie Ann
Carrie Ann Sakshaug, 35, of Cedar Rapids, died Friday, March 9, 2012. Memorial services will be held at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church, 153 Cherry Hill Rd. NW, Cedar Rapids, at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, with a luncheon afterward. Pastor Randy Kasch and Pastor Trish Decker will be officiating.
Carrie is survived by her husband, Seth Sakshaug; children, Robert, Trevor and Vanessa Sakshaug, all of Cedar Rapids; mother, Kim Olson of Cedar Rapids; sister, Shawny Olson of Fairfax; mother-in-law, Lou Fowler of Fairfax; father-in-law, Robert (Vicki) Sakshaug of Albuquerque, N.M.; four brothers-in-law, Beau (Jessie) Sakshaug of Henderson, Nev., Daniel Fowler of Fairfax, Ira Griffin and Clay Griffin, both of Albuquerque, N.M.; three sisters-in-law, Molly Fowler (Kain and Kyla) of Palo, Elizabeth Fowler of Fairfax and Dacia Griffin of Albuquerque, N.M.; many aunts, uncles and cousins; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Carrie Ann (Malloy) Sakshaug was born Dec. 22, 1976, to Robert Eugene Malloy and Kim Maureen Olson in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She married Seth in Fairfax, Iowa on July 17, 2003. She was a stay-at-home mom and enjoyed gardening and riding bikes with her family. She especially loved spending time with her husband, children, and family.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
