Sadie worked for many years at Pepper Ridge Farm, Waconia Sorghum and Torch Printing Press, as well as cleaning homes for many families in the Cedar Rapids area.
She enjoyed dancing, doing Word Find books, keeping her scrapbooks up-to-date with "news" of family and friends of births, weddings, anniversaries and other life events.
The time spent with her family was very important; she loved the grandkids and great-grandkids.
Sadie volunteered at St. Ludmila's Kolache Festival for many years.
She had a loving smile and will be greatly missed for her warmth and caring nature.
Sadie, your family loves you! You made our lives much more than we could have possibly hoped for!
Sadie is survived by her children, Nancy (John) Leefers, Sharon (Patrick) McMickle, and a granddaughter she and Dale raised as their daughter, April (Todd) Petersen, all of Cedar Rapids; and Dale's children, Mike (Linda), Jeanne, Mark, Tom (Carrie) and Terry Feye, all of Cedar Rapids. Sadie was blessed with 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Leo Lamparek of Cedar Rapids; her sisters-in-law, Grace Lamparek of Swisher and Joan Feye of Kansas City, Mo.; and her brother-in-law, Roger (Roseann) Feye of Eastman, Wis.; as well as many nieces and nephews.
