Sabbah, Aiah (Ali)
Aiah (Ali) Sabbah, 19, of Cedar Rapids, was found dead Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011.
Aiah came to America May 24, 1999. He attended Washington and Metro high schools. He was an aspiring musician and was currently working on advertising for local businesses. Aiah attended the Islamic Center of Cedar Rapids.
He is survived by his mom, Hawa Darbo; dad, Tamba Sabbah; brother, Papis Sabbah; sister, Alice Sabbah; brother, Komba Sabbah; sister, Fatimata Sabbah; brother, Gibric Shaw; his American grandmother, Cathy Techau; his African grandmother, Fatimata Syllah; two nieces, Catherine and Diamond; a nephew, Buoch; and aunts and uncles.
He was preceded in death by five brothers in Gambus, Africa.
