Rysavy, Samuel John
Samuel John Rysavy died peacefully in the arms of his family on April 5, 2013. He was born at 10:40 p.m. four days earlier.
Samuel is the only child of Matthew and Mary Rysavy of Iowa City.
His maternal grandparents are John and Peggy Becker of Dubuque. His paternal grandparents are Paul Rysavy of Burnsville, Minn., and Laura Rysavy of North Aurora, Ill.
Samuel elicited love from many during his short life.
A Funeral Mass will be 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 8, at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Iowa City, with a reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Inharrime, 3065 Vail Trail Ct., Dubuque, IA 52001 or www.friendsofinharrime.org. Donations will be used to support children in Mozambique who do not have parents or resources like Samuel did.
