Ryan Wiese, 29, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas, due to complications from leukemia.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 14, at Goettsch Funeral Home, Anamosa, where friends and family may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Carla Burge will officiate at the services. Interment will be held in the Riverside Cemetery. Memories and condolences may be left at www.goettschonline.com.
Surviving Ryan is his loving wife, Aleshia; two sons, Deacon and Parker; his parents, Dale and Tammy; a brother, Eric, and his wife, Joni, and their son, Rezner; and his maternal grandparents, Dean and Linda Martin, all of Anamosa.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Kyle; and paternal grandparents, Harold and Carol Wiese.
Ryan Patrick Wiese was born Feb. 14, 1986, in Davenport, Iowa. He was the son of Dale and Tammy (Martin) Wiese. Ryan graduated from Anamosa Community Schools with the class of 2004. He attended Kirkwood College and later continued his education at the Conservatory for Recording Arts and Sciences in Tempe, Ariz. Ryan then worked as a sound engineer at the Recording Studio at the Palms in Las Vegas. He worked on recordings for Michael Jackson, Alice in Chains, Celine Dion and Usher, to name a few artists. He returned to Anamosa to work for the family business, Bennett Machine and Fabricating. Ryan and Aleshia Rowan were married on Sept. 8, 2012, at Teddy's Barn, near Anamosa. Ryan had a love for his family, friends, music and sports, especially the Denver Broncos.
