Ruth M. Redman, 81, of Tucson, Ariz., formerly of Cedar Rapids, died Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2015, in Tucson. Funeral services: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 14, at St. Francis de Sales Church, Tucson. Visita-tion: 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, at Bring's Broadway Chapel, Tucson.
Mrs. Redman, formerly Ruth Marie Schatz, was born Jan. 18, 1934, to Harm and Emma (Marek) Schatz, and grew up in DeWitt, Iowa. On Feb. 2, 1957, she was united in marriage to Donald Redman in Cedar Rapids, where the couple lived for over 50 years before moving to Tucson, Ariz.
