RUTH LILLIAN LUNDGREN (LEWIS)
Castle Rock, Colo.
Ruth Lillian Lundgren (Lewis), 77, passed away on Oct. 20, 2021, at Castle Rock Adventist Hospital, Castle Rock, Colo., with her family at her bedside. She was born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on March 28, 1944.
She is survived by husband of 55 years, John; son, John Jr. (Karen) of San Francisco, Calif.; and son, Peter (Erica) of Morrison, Colo. She also has two sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Baytown, Texas, and Mary Watkins, Columbia, Mo. Her grandchildren include Evan, Jack, Hazel, Nick and Noelle. She graduated from Alburnett High School and Upper Iowa University with honors.
Her Celebration of Life Memorial Service was held on Oct. 25, 2021, at New Hope Presbyterian Church where a family member and friends spoke of Ruth's great attributes. Each of her grandchildren spoke of their wonderful feelings for their "Nana."
Ruth's professional life including teaching preschool, kindergarten and middle school students and enjoying all grades. She also experienced both public and private settings. She was a natural teacher and a giver of knowledge to all.
