Ruth Leona Dunkel, 94, formerly of Alburnett, Iowa, sadly passed away Aug. 27, 2022, peacefully at home in Port Saint Lucie, Fla.
She was predeceased by her husband, Ernest Dunkel; son, Jack; daughter, Carol; daughter-in-law, Patricia; one grandchild; one great-grandchild; two brothers; and three sisters.
Survivors include her children, Ernie, Doug, Dan, Rick and Kathy; two sisters; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She will be remembered as a loving, caring person with a sense of humor and a smile that will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Sept. 5. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held in her honor at 1 p.m. Sept. 6, both will take place at Murdoch Funeral Home, Center Point, Iowa.
