Ruth Langenberg, 90, of Iowa City, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024 at Compass Memorial Hospital, Marengo. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM, Thursday, November 7, 2024 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Iowa City with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Iowa City. Instead of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
Ruth is survived by her children, Daryle Langenberg (Sandra), Beverly Nicklaus (Mark), and David Langenberg (Sharon); five grandchildren; brother, Leo Fuhrmeister (Deanna) and sister Rita Fuhrmeister (George Wise); and many nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, and husband, William.
