Ruth Ciha, 74, of East Dubuque, Ill., formerly of Cedar Rapids and Bentonville, Ark., passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 2, 2019, at her home. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Linwood Cemetery, Cedar Rapids. Arrangements by Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids.
Ruth was born April 4, 1944, in Monticello, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Rita (Neyens) Green. On Jan. 7, 1970, she was united in marriage to Edward Ciha in Jo Davies County. Ruth was employed as a purchaser for Walmart.
She is survived by her son, Marty (Sara) Lindauer of Monticello; two brothers, Carl (Pat) Green and Bill Green, all of Cascade; several grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; sisters, Beth Dahlam and Patsy Miller; and two brothers, Gilbert Green and Paul Green.
A memorial has been established in Ruth's name care of Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 520 Wilson Ave. SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404.
