Russell "Rusty" Krall, 88, of Estes Park, Colo., formerly of Solon, died Tuesday, April 26, 2016. A visitation and celebration of Rusty's life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 5, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1749 Racine Ave., Solon, IA 52333. A noon lunch will follow at the Solon American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Dolores (Miltner) Krall; children, Timothy Krall (Annie), Laura Siders (Tom), Julia Krall-Brierton and Max Krall (Deborah); and grandchildren, Ben Siders, Katie Hewitt, Dan Krall, Abby Faucett, Michael Brierton and Lainey Brierton.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Krall; and sisters, Lena (Krall) Anderlik and Catherine (Krall) Campion.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the Solon Fire Department, 131 N. Iowa St., Solon, IA 52333; or Camp Courageous.
