Runnels, Lois D.
Lois D. Runnels, 89, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2012, at Mercy Iowa City. She is the mother of Amy Anderson and her husband, Bruce of Solon, and Dee Runnels of Moline, Ill.; and grandmother to Kate, Joe and Jake.
We will celebrate Lois's life at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27, at the First United Methodist Church in Clinton, with a gathering and luncheon following the service.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Clinton, Iowa, for capital improvements or to the family for the purchase of a memorial tree and plaque on the Clinton riverfront. Excess donations for the riverfront memorial will be given to the church.
Gay & Ciha Funeral and Cremation Service of Iowa City assisted with local arrangements.
