Rummel, Ruth E.
Ruth E. Rummel, 87, of Arlington, died Tuesday morning, May 18, 2010, at Grandview Health Care Center, Oelwein. Funeral Service: 10:30 a.m. Friday, St. John Lutheran Church, Arlington, with the Rev. Paul Fohs officiating. Interment: Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein. Visitation from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Arlington, and one hour before services Friday at the church.
A memorial fund has been established.

Survivors include two sons, Ronald (Penny) Rummel of Strawberry Point and Larry (Penny) Rummel of Arlington; three daughters, Patricia (Donald) Hanson of Elgin, Cindee (Steven) Saville of Oelwein and Jane (Anthony) Alshouse of Kearney, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
